Reservations

Reservation Procedure

  1. You either make the selection yourself (A) or you ask us for suggestions relevant to your requirements (B). Your first contact should be made using the Reservation Form as it prompts you to answer some basic questions and provides us with the necessary information to make a meaningful reply. You do not have to use the form, but using it generally saves times as we do not have to ask you some basic questions later. You may contact us at reservations.

  2. A - we inform you of the availability and current rates of your selection (if different from the published ones)
    B - we provide you with selection of available accommodation and current rates, including any specials.
  3. You decide if you want to proceed and inform us.
  4. We hold your reservation and advise you of the deposit requirements. The time frame for the deposit payment will depend on the timing in relation to reservation but will generally be between 1-4 days. The level of the deposit will depend on the type of accommodation with 2 days payment being the norm for hotels, 2-7 days for apartments. We shall inform you of the deposit amount and your Invoice No. if payment is to be made with a credit card using our Secure Server payment option.
  5. After receiving the deposit (clearance of the credit card authorisation) we send you a confirmation and all the relevant details re check-in. We'll also ask you for your arrival time (if by air, the landing time).
  6. Please note that the availability status of our offer may change between your enquiry and the deposit payment, especially if the payment is not promptly followed. If that happens we would notify you immediately. Your credit card is charged only at the time of confirmation.

Credit Card Number Security
 

When using our Secure Server Payments, your credit card details are encrypted by means of a 128 bit strong encryption engine (about the strongest encryption level available commercially). This is as safe as it gets.

Q. How do I reserve accommodation?

Q. What assurance do I have as to the security of the credit card details sent?
Security of data over the internet is still not a well understood area. How much security is enough? We offer a Secure Server credit card payments and it is as secure as it gets. If you trust the fax or phone more, please use it. Read the Reservation Procedure first.

Q. I sent an accommodation enquiry and did not receive an answer.
Sometimes we may be the guilty party by overlooking the message but more often than not it is your return email address which is wrong. So please, check your return email address very carefully. If you are not getting a quick response please send us a remainder.

Q. I feel uneasy by the fact that you want money before you release accommodation contact details.
Our business model and experience demands that we do it in that order. You have nothing to fear. We have been in this business for more than six years now and have all the intentions and means to stay and provide good and reliable service for many years to come.

 

Properties/Level of Service

 

Q. Is the bed linen and towels provided in your apartments?
Yes, of course - all our listed properties classed as 'serviced' and ready for living.

Q. Is crockery and cutlery provided?

Q. How often are the linen/towels changed?
The frequency varies with the type of property and service offered but is never longer than 7 days. In an apartment hotel this is done for you (and the corresponding servicing). In a private apartment there is enough linen/towels provided and you are responsible for the changing unless offered/negotiated otherwise.

Q. Do your rates include GST (the Australian Goods And Services Tax)?
Yes.

Q. Are there any other hidden charges besides the published rates?
No. If there were, they would be mentioned at the time of the offer.

Q. What is the process of correcting listing mistakes?
Just send us an email and we will attend to it a.s.a.p.
